Have Christian Films & Plays Replaced Church?

Christian stage plays have been the pride of black actors and actresses for decades. These energy filled performances always seem to touch our hearts with their serious drama, side-busting comedy, and the soulful sounds of christian music. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of being part of an audience at one of these talent filled productions, then you’ve seen audience members who jump to their feet, shout AMEN and even catch the holy ghost.

Have today’s christian based stage plays and film replaced the church? Are these productions the new way of Evangelism?
