Upland city manager retires after 10 months on the job

City Manger Bill Manis is leaving after 10 months on the job.
The city announced Monday, Sept. 24, that Manis is retiring and the City Council voted unanimously to appoint Assistant City Manager Jeannette Vagnozzi to fill the position on an interim basis.

Manis will leave the city Nov. 1. Vagnozz
will step into her new role on Nov. 2.

The council is expected to discuss a search for a permanent replacement at a later date. #spmgmedia
